WHAT TO EXPECT AT YOUR FIRST VISIT
At your first visit to Woodside Smile Dental we will review your medical history, past dental history and any dental records you have had forwarded to our office. If necessary, we will suggest taking x-rays of your teeth and mouth related jaw structures. Our hygienist will then clean and polish your teeth, checking for any cavities or signs of gum disease (gingivitis), TMJ or bite disease (bruxism). Patient specific preventive oral hygiene instructions are always discussed and reviewed. After your cleaning, one of our Dentists will usually complete your thorough check-up examination and may begin to create a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs and answer any questions you may have. Often, when more complex treatment planning is needed, the doctor may arrange additional visits for diagnosis and consultation.
INSURANCE INFORMATION
Woodside Smile Dental accepts assignment from most major insurance plans. Our office staff will submit claims directly to your insurance company. Our highly skilled insurance coordinators are dedicated to making your dental care affordable and to maximizing your insurance benefits.
